Gorfeenda

Tim invites Samantha, a woman he likes, over to a date with dinner. He shows her a giant dragon toy that has two sets of wings, with the back wings used for steering and the front ones to set sail. As the man talks about his childhood, he shares a dream he had about her. This dream then comes into reality. In the end, the prince wins the princess’s heart. The man dances with the woman. You can learn about St. Adalbert and Jesus, and to mention dragons and creepy spiders as fairy tale elements you may enjoy.

Chapter 1 Sample

One day a young man had a crush on a young woman. His name was Tim, her name was Samantha. It was a cold snowy morning, and the man had a thought in his head. This thought was will I or will I not ask Samantha to the high school dance?

As he stepped onto the icy pavement of the parking lot, he knew the answer. Yes, today I’ll ask Samantha whether or not she rejects me. The dance is tomorrow. And as he stepped twice another thought emerged, I’ll go to that dance whether or not I have a dance partner. He pumped his right fist with indignation and walked his way into the high school after he spoke to his mom on his cell phone. He told her about the girl he had a dream about and likes, and that her name is Samantha.

Tim thought, the Bible reads, if you have faith and do not doubt, you can say to this mountain, go, throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done, and the Bible also says, truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Tim prayed, “Father, I ask You in Jesus name and I don't doubt, please give me a dance with Samantha, amen.”

He was eighteen years old and a senior in a Catholic high school. However, he recollects his days in fifth grade at St. Adalbert school. He remembers who St. Adalbert was and Tim said encouraging himself, “If you start low, don't worry, all of the greats started low.”

St. Adalbert of Prague had five brothers and was a well-educated man. He became a priest then the bishop of Prague. In his later years he became a missionary in Prussia, but Adalbert was martyred in April 997 for not staying away from the sacred oak groves.
